GMT Timber Frames is a well established traditional heavy framing company based in the heart of the south west of England. The core members have many years experience in the framing industry, constructing Oak and Douglas Fir frames for projects of all sizes. GMT aim to offer highly competitive pricing through careful control of costs and efficient working practise.

GMT Oak and Douglas Fir frames are hand crafted using traditional methods, but we also undertake projects using more contemporary timber construction techniques. In rural Somerset we have a 750m2 Carpenters yard, ideal for the pre-fabrication of the largest of structures.

GMT likes to form close working relationships with clients. From initial consultation, through the construction phase, to final completion, the same team of skilled craftsmen will handle your project.
